Dear RHESSI collaborators,

The beta-gamma-delta region NOAA 0069 has continued to grow in size and is now large enough to be visible with the naked eye (using a filter!). The region contains one of the largest delta configurations of this cycle and is expected to produce C- and M-class events with a good chance for an X.

The position of NOAA 0069 on 15-Aug-2002 13:00 UT is:

S08E29, ( -456", -227" )

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest/0069.html for images and solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Peter Gallagher, L-3 Com Analytics Corp/NASA GSFC.
