Dear RHESSI collaborators,

NOAA 0069 produced an M5 at ~12:30 UT today which was accompanied by a full halo CME. The region still shows large magnetic gradients across the inversion line of its central delta and has experienced further flux emergence in its northern edge leading to the formation of a fourth delta configuration within the region. Further C- and M-class events expected with a chance for an X.

The position of NOAA 0069 16-Aug-2002 13:00 UT is:

S07E16, ( -260", -221" )

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest/0069.html for images and solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
