Dear RHESSI collaborators,
NOAA 10095 produced an X1.5 at 12:47 UT today. The region contains two large irregularly shaped spots and may contain a delta. However, at this time is still too close to the limb to properly ascertain its magnetic configuration. Further low to intermediate level activity expected with a small chance for another high level event.
The position of NOAA 10095 on 30-Aug-2002 14:00 UT is:
N07E68 ( -876", 70" )
See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest/ for further images and solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml.
