Dear RHESSI collaborators,

NOAA 0224 has recently rotated onto the solar disk and shows a large, bright loop system in the EIT 19.5 and 28.4 nm passbands. As this point, the region appears to contain a number of small spots, although it is difficult to ascertain its magnetic configuration at this point. Further low level activity is expected.

The position of NOAA 0224 on 13-Dec-2002 14:00 UT is:

S16E62, ( -829", -263" )

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest/0224.html for images and solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
