Dear RHESSI collaborators,

There are several regions on the disk likely to produce activity today. NOAA 0226 is an elongated beta-gamma-delta region which has experienced continued flux emergence in its core and now shows strong gradients across its neutral line. Further C-class events expected with a good chance for an M.

The position of NOAA 0226 on 17-Dec-2002 15:00 UT is:

S28E04, ( -60", -441" )

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest/0026.html for images and solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
