Dear RHESSI collaborators,

Solar activity is again low although there are now several regions on the disk likely to produce low- and possibly intermediate-level events. In particular, NOAA active regions 0242 and 0243 appear to have developed beta-gamma-delta magnetic classifications.

The position of NOAA 0243 on 5-Jan-2003 14:00 UT is:

S19W55, ( 755", -285" )

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest/0243.html for images and solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Peter Gallagher, L-3 Com EER Systems/NASA GSFC.
