Dear RHESSI collaborators,

Active Region NOAA 0296 consists of a large leader spot with several smaller trailing spots. As yet, it is still to close to the limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration. It has produced several C events in the past 24 hours and further low level activity is expected, with a small chance for a M-class event.

The position of NOAA 0296 on 01-Mar-2003 11:00 UT is:

N12E66, ( -866", 248" )

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest/0296.html for images and solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
