From: Max Millennium Chief Observer <mm_co@qub.ac.uk> Subject: Major Flare Watch Date: Wed, 19 Mar 2003 12:38:45 +0000
Dear RHESSI collaborators,
Active region NOAA 0314 has now produced 2 X-class, 4 M-class and multiple C-class flares. As long as it continues to harbour the large delta component further intermediate- to high-level activity is expected, with a good chance for another X flare.
The position of NOAA 0314 on 19-Mar-2003 12:00 UT is:
S16W59, ( 796", -205" )
See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest/0314.html for images and solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
