Dear RHESSI collaborators,
The beta-gamma-delta region, NOAA 0338, continues to develop in size and complexity, and has maintained strong magnetic gradients across its main inversion line. The region has produced a number of C- and M-class flares over the past 24-hours, and is expected to continue at a similar activity level, with a chance for an X.
The position of NOAA 0338 on 24-Apr-2003 14:00 UT is:
N18W42, ( 606", 352" )
See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest/0338.html for images and solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
Regards,
Peter Gallagher, L-3 Com EER Systems/NASA GSFC.
