Dear RHESSI collaborators,

A large system of coronal loops are visible on the southeastern limb, the southernmost of which are probably associated with the return of NOAA 0337 (http://www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/20030423/eit284_fd.html). The northern component is associated with NOAA 0362, which is currently classified as a beta region. C-class events possible.

The position of NOAA 0362 on 16-May-2003 13:00 UT is:

S10E69, ( -874", -150" )

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest/0362.html for images and solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Peter Gallagher, L-3 Com EER Systems/NASA GSFC.
