Dear RHESSI collaborators,

Solar activity remains low, although there is a chance of increased activity from the east limb over the next few days. Active region NOAA 0424 may have began to decay and is now a large, but relatively simple, beta-gamma region. Some C-class events possible, with a small chance for an isolated M-class flare.

The position of NOAA 0424 on 08-Aug-2003 11:00 UT is:

S18W07, ( 110", -389" )

See http://beauty.nascom.nasa.gov/arm/latest/0424.html for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
