Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI collaborators,

Solar flare activity remains at low levels. Both NOAA 0424 and 0431 have produced low-level C-class events since the last message. Both regions are now in slow decay phase, but we expect them to continue further C-class events with a slight chance of an isolated M-class event from target region 0424.

The position of NOAA 0424 on August 12 at 15:30 UT: S18W63 (Solar X = 803", Solar Y = -337")

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest/ and www.lmsal.com/solarsoft/last_images for images and additional information and solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
