Dear RHESSI collaborators,

There are now two regions likely to produce significant activity. An, as yet unnumbered, region on the SE limb has produced numerous C- and M- class events over the past 24 hours. This has corresponded with several back-sided CMEs ,as viewable in LASCO images.

Active region NOAA 0484 continues to experience flux emergence, and now contains numerous deltas with large magnetic gradients. Further intermediate level activity expected with a good chance for another X-class flare.

The position of NOAA 0484 on 22-Oct-2003 11:00 UT is:

N04E20, ( -330", -17" )

See http://beauty.nascom.nasa.gov/arm/latest/0484.html for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
