Subject: MM#003 Major Flare Watch

Dear RHESSI collaborators,

Both NOAA 0484 (N05W25) and NOAA 0486 (S16E47) are large magnetcally complex regions with the potential to produce major flares. 0484 has a beta-gamma-delta magnetic configuration and 0486 has a slightly more complex reversed polarity gamma-delta magnetic configuration. 0484 has generated one C-class and one M-class event and 0486 has generated four C-class and two M-class events UT day today. 0484 is expected to continue producing C- and M-class events with a chance of an X-class event as well. 0486 will continue to produce C- and M-class events with an X-class event highly probable. 0486 will continue to be the MM#003 target.

The position of NOAA 0486 on October 25 at 17:30 UT: S16E47 (Solar X = -680", Solar Y = -321")
