Dear RHESSI collaborators,

The beta-gamma-delta region, NOAA 0486, has remained relatively unchanged since yesterday. The region contains multiple inversion lines, across which strong horizontal gradients in the longitudinal magnetic field are visible. Further C-, M-, and X-class activity expected.

The position of NOAA 0486 on 31-Oct-2003 14:00 UT is:

S18W31, ( 475", -360" )

See http://beauty.nascom.nasa.gov/arm/latest/0486.html for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Peter Gallagher, L-3 Communications/NASA GSFC.
