Dear RHESSI collaborators,

It appears the Hallowe'en fireworks have now subsided, and activity levels typical of the approach to solar min have resumed (at least until the return of NOAA 0484, 0486, and 0488).

There are now two small regions visible on the solar disk: NOAA 0487 and 0495. NOAA 0487 is a small beta region which may produce low-level activity.

The position of NOAA 0487 on 6-Nov-2003 14:00 UT is:

N11W81, ( 939", 174" )

See http://beauty.nascom.nasa.gov/arm/latest/0487.html for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Peter Gallagher, L-3 Communications/NASA GSFC.
