Dear RHESSI collaborators,

The compact beta-gamma-delta region NOAA 0536 has remained relatively unchanged since yesterday. Further C-class events possible, with a chance for an M.

NOTE: There was an M5.9 at ~06:50 UT today from ~N04E81, suggesting that an active sunspot group may be about to rotate onto the disk. The north-east limb will be monitored for any further activity.

The position of NOAA 0536 on 6-Jan-2004 14:00 UT is:

S10E15, ( -249", -111" )

See http://beauty.nascom.nasa.gov/arm/latest/0536.html for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Peter Gallagher, L-3 Communications/NASA GSFC.
