Dear RHESSI collaborators,

There are currently two regions on the solar disk, neither of which is likely to produce significant activity. NOAA 0540 is a relatively large beta-gamma region which produced a C3.4 today. Further C-class events expected, with a small chance for an M.

The position of NOAA 0540 on 15-Jan-2004 14:00 UT is:

S13E51, ( -741", -171" )

See http://beauty.nascom.nasa.gov/arm/latest/0540.html for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Peter Gallagher, L-3 Communications/NASA GSFC.
