Dear RHESSI collaborators,

NOAA 0540 is a relatively large, elongated beta-gamma region which has produced a number of C-class flares over the past 24-hours. Further low-level activity expected, with a chance for an intermediate-level event.

The position of NOAA 0540 on 16-Jan-2004 13:00 UT is:

S13E35, ( -547", -156" )

See http://beauty.nascom.nasa.gov/arm/latest/0540.html for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Peter Gallagher, L-3 Communications/NASA GSFC.
