Dear RHESSI collaborators,

Although solar activity remains low, several beta regions (NOAA 0547, 0549, 0551) on the solar disk may produce low level activity. Active region NOAA 0551 has experienced major flux emergence in the past 24 hours. C-class events expected.

The position of NOAA 0551 on 05-Feb-2004 11:00 UT is:

S06E32, ( -515", -11" )

See http://beauty.nascom.nasa.gov/arm/latest/0551.html for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
