Dear RHESSI collaborators,

Solar activity remains at a low level. However active regions NOAA 0549 (decaying) and NOAA 0551 (growing) may both produce low-level activity. NOAA 0551 has doubled in area over the past 24 hours, with flux emergence in the follower spot. C-class events possible, with a small chance for an isolated higher level event.

The position of NOAA 0551 on 6-Feb-2004 10:30 UT is:

S06E20, ( -332", 0" )

See http://beauty.nascom.nasa.gov/arm/latest/0551.html for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
