Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI collaborators,

Solar activity has been very low and is expected to remain low. NOAA 0588 has continued to decay and has lost all of the sunspots associated with the new reversed polarity flux which emerged on April 3. The old round leader sunspot is still present. Please change targets to NOAA 0591. 0591 is an EFR with bright H-alpha plage and a nicely developed set of arch-type filaments.

The position of NOAA 0591 on April 13 at 13:30 UT: S15W07 (Solar X = 113", Solar Y = -156")

See http://beauty.nascom.nasa.gov/arm/latest/ for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
