Dear RHESSI collaborators,

A new region (0614) on the west limb has produced some C-class events in the past 24 hours. However NOAA 0609 now contains small regions of mixed polarity on its southern edge. Some low-level events expected.

The position of NOAA 0609 on 17-May-2004 13:00 UT is:

S03W27, ( 431", -15" )

See http://beauty.nascom.nasa.gov/arm/latest/0609.html for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

James McAteer, NASA GSFC.
