Dear RHESSI collaborators,

A new region on the SE limb has produced several C-class flares in the past 24 hours. Although still too close to the limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration or size, further low- to intermediate- level activity is expected.

The position of this, as yet unnumbered, region on 20-May-2004 13:30 UT is:

S09E75, ( -906", -140" )

See http://beauty.nascom.nasa.gov/arm/latest/ for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

James McAteer, NASA GSFC.
