Dear RHESSI collaborators,

Beta-gamma-delta region NOAA 0649, produced two further X-class in the past 24 hours; at 15-Jul-2004 18:15 UT and 16-Jul-2004 02:06 UT. The region's configuration and size remain unchanged, with a strong north-south neutral line still bisecting the follower spot. Expect further intermediate- to high- level events, with a good chance for another X-class event.

The position of NOAA 0649 on 16-July-2004 at 13:00 UT is:

S10E33 ( -508", -225" )

See http://beauty.nascom.nasa.gov/arm/latest/0649.html for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
