From: Max Millennium Chief Observer <mm_co@hesperia.gsfc.nasa.gov> Subject: MM#003 Major Flare Watch Date: Fri, 23 Jul 2004 09:19:28 -0400
Dear RHESSI collaborators,
Although it has decayed slightly, active region NOAA 0652 maintains a beta-gamma-delta configuration, and has produced 3 M-class flares in the previous 24 hours. Further low- to intermediate- level events expected, with a good chance for an isolated X-class flare.
The position of NOAA 0652 on 23-July-2004 13:00 UT is:
N08W02, ( 32", 47" )
See http://beauty.nascom.nasa.gov/arm/latest/0652.html for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
Regards,
James McAteer, NASA GSFC.
