Dear RHESSI collaborators,

Solar activity remains at a low level, with only a handful of events occurring on the Sun in the last 24 hours. NOAA 0663 is still the most obviously complex region visible on the disc, holding a beta-gamma configuration with some slight polarity mixing behind the leader spot. Occasional C-class events expected.

The position of NOAA 0663 on 22-Aug-2004 at 12:00 UT is:

N11E45, ( -665", 101" )

See http://www.solarmonitor.org/latest/0663.html for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
