Dear RHESSI collaborators,

Solar activity level remains low with two regions producing some sporadic events over the last 24 hours: beta region NOAA 0661, which is now at the limb; and an as-yet unnumbered region on the south-east limb, which may be the return of region NOAA 0655. Of the two regions, NOAA 0661 has been the more productive over the last 24 hours. Occasional low-level events expected from this region before west-limb passage.

The position of NOAA 0661 on 25-Aug-2004 12:00 UT is:

N06W80, ( 930", 78" )

See http://beauty.nascom.nasa.gov/arm/latest/0661.html for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
