Dear RHESSI collaborators,
A new region has rotated over the southeast limb which has produced a number of C-class events. The region, NOAA 0693, consists of two relatively large spots embedded in a bright area of plage. Further C-class activity expected, with a chance for an M.
The position of NOAA 0693 on 28-Oct-2004 09:00 UT is:
S13E67, ( -867", -247" )
See http://www.solarmonitor.org/latest/0693.html for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
Regards,
Peter T. Gallagher, University College Dublin/NASA GSFC.
