Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Thu, 1 Sep 2005 06:42:29 -0700

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar flare activity is very low and expected to continue very low.
NOAA 0806 decayed significantly since the last message.
The positive polarity leader is the only remaining sunspot.
0806 produced a B2.1 event at 08/31/23:06 UT. NOAA
0803 has a large dark filament defining the region's
east-west magnetic inversion line. This is the filament
that was associated with the C2 event/flare and full halo CME
at 11:51 UT yesterday. Although spotless, 0803 is a
region with an interesting filament and a flare productive history of
three rotations (old NOAA regions 0786 and 0792).

The position of NOAA 0803/filament on Sept. 01 at 13:00 UT:
N11W21 (Solar X = 335", Solar Y = 071")
