Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Sat, 3 Sep 2005 12:42:09 -0700

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar flare activity continues at a very low level. NOAA
0803 produced three B-class events and its filament displayed
minor activation from time to time. The largest event was a B6.1
at 09/03/04:10 UT with its source NOAA 0805 (S10W09).
0805 is the only sunspotted region on the disk. Since the filament
in the 0803 plage is not very dynamic at this time, we will switch
targets to the "stacked" regions 0805 and 0806. The position is
set to include spotless 0806 along with spotted 0805.

The position of NOAA 0805/0806 on September 03 at 14:30 UT:
S15W13 (Solar X = 208", Solar Y = -358")

See http://www.solarmonitor.org/ for images and additional information and

description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
