Subject: Major Flare Watch
Date: Mon, 12 Sep 2005 06:48:15 -0700

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 0808 continues to decay in the trailing portion. The
X-ray background flux is slowly decreasing, but 0808
maintains a beta-gamma-delta magnetic configuration with a
strong delta in the large leading penumbra so another major
flare is still probable. The largest event since the last message
was an M6.1 at 09/12/09:03 UT.

The position of Super Region NOAA 0808 on Sept. 12 at 13:00 UT:
S09E22 (Solar X = -354", Solar Y = -259")

See http://www.solarmonitor.org/ for images and additional information and

description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
