Subject: Major Flare Watch
Date: Wed, 14 Sep 2005 06:58:34 -0700

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 0808 produced three X-class events since the last
message (X1.5 at 09/13/19:27 UT, X1.5 at 20:05 UT and
an X1.7 at 09/13/23:21 UT). The impulsive X1.5 at 19:27
apparently triggered the long duration X1.5/2b event that maxed
at 20:05 UT. The second X1.5 had an associated major filament
eruption in the trailing portion of the region. A large CME was
associated with this double X1.5 event. 0808 continues to maintain
its strong delta configuration located in the central large penumbra.
0808 is capable of producing another major flare.

The position of Super Region NOAA 0808 on Sept. 14 at 13:30 UT:
S11W04 (Solar X = 065", Solar Y = -299")
