Subject: Major Flare Watch
Date: Sat, 17 Sep 2005 09:04:30 -0700

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 0808 produced 3 M-class events including the M9.8
event at 09/17/06:05 UT since the last message. 0808 continues
in decay phase within the leading and trailing portions
of the region. The strong delta configuration located in the central
area is also decaying especially within the westernmost portion
which is starting to break away. The easternmost component
remains intact with steep gradients. Although in decay phase, 0808
is still capable of producing another major flare before west limb
passage.

The position of NOAA 0808 on September 17 at 15:00 UT:
S11W46 (Solar X = 676", Solar Y = -262")
