Subject: Major Flare Watch
Date: Sun, 18 Sep 2005 13:46:14 -0700

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 0808 has significantly decayed since the last message.
Although 0808 maintains a beta-gamma-delta magnetic
classification, the delta's magnetic inversion line is only about 1/4
of its original length. The leading portion of the plage is now
spotless and only a few trailing sunspots remain. There is still
a chance that an important, very active region such as 0808
will produce a dying, last gasp large flare in its decay phase,
therefore, we will continue MM#003 for at least another day.

The position of NOAA 0808 on September 18 at 20:00 UT:
S11W62 (Solar X = 829", Solar Y = -236")
