Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Sat, 24 Sep 2005 11:02:12 -0700

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity has been very low and is expected to continue
very low. The background X-ray flux has been at a very
steady A3 level for the past 24 hours. There are two
sunspotted plages on the visible disk (target region, NOAA
0810, N09W16 and NOAA 0812, S01E63). NOAA 0810
continues to decay losing most of its small sunspots
in the intermediate and trailing portions. The positive leader
sunspot is becoming more symmetrical. B-class events probable
with a slight chance of an isolated C-class event.

The position of NOAA 0810 on September 24 at 17:00 UT:
N09W16 (Solar X = 261", Solar Y = 038")

See http://www.solarmonitor.org/ for images and additional information and
