Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 0822 continues to decay within the area located adjacent to the huge negative polarity leader sunspot, but maintains mixed polarities in the trailing sunspots. 0822 produced an M1.4 event at 11/15/17:51 UT and several B- and C-class events since the last message. Further B-, C- and another M-class event are expected. An isolated major flare is less likely, but still possible if new flux emergence occurs so we will continue MM#003 (Major Flare Watch) for another day.

The position of NOAA 0822 on November 16 at 13:30 UT: S08E33 (Solar X = -525", Solar Y = -172")

See http://www.solarmonitor.org/ for images and additional information and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
