Dear RHESSI collaborators,

Solar activity is low today with little change expected. There are currently five active regions on the disk, all of which will rotate over the west limb today. The beta region NOAA 10843, which produced some low-level activity over the past number of days, may result in further isolated events.

The position of NOAA 10843 on 7-Jan-2006 11:00 UT is:

N12W90, ( 954", 201" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Peter Gallagher, Trinity College Dublin.
