Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Wed, 8 Feb 2006 10:53:07 +0000
Dear RHESSI collaborators,
Solar activity is low today, although a small, bright region has just emerged approximately 10 degrees south of the equator on the central meridian. For today's MOSES rocket flight, scheduled to be observing at 18:13-18:18 UT, the target will be a compact coronal loop system, which rotated onto the disk at ~N07 on 3-Feb-2006. No significant flare activity is expected from the region.
The approximate position of this region on 8-Feb-2006 10:00 UT is:
N07E20, ( -332", 221" )
For more information on MOSES targeting, please see http://solar.physics.montana.edu/hypermail/mmscience/0318.html.
