Dear RHESSI collaborators,
Solar activity remains low. A large and bright coronal loop system became visible on the east limb earlier today. The region may have been the source of a wide CME detected by CACTUS at ~23:30 UT on 10-Feb-2006 (http://sidc.oma.be/cactus/out/diffmovie/cme0019.html).
The approximate position of this region on 11-Feb-2006 12:00 UT is:
S20E90
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
Regards,
Peter Gallagher, Trinity College Dublin.
