Dear RHESSI collaborators,

A new region has emerged close to the south east limb, and has produced a number of low-level events. The region, which has not yet been numbered by NOAA, appears to be a beta-region overlayed by a bright coronal loop system, visible at a EUV and X-ray wavelengths.

The approximate position of this region on 14-Mar-2006 01:00 UT is:

S08E65, ( -874", -83" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,

Peter Gallagher, Trinity College Dublin.
