Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Thu, 20 Apr 2006 18:04:22 +0100
Dear RHESSI collaborators,
There has been some small-scale flux emergence in NOAA 10874, resulting in the region now being classified as a beta-gamma region. The region has brightened at EUV and soft X-ray wavelengths, which may have been associated with the lift-off of a large filament to the region's south-east on 19-Apr-2006. Further low-level activity possible.
The position of NOAA 10874 on 20-Apr-2006 16:00 UT is:
N00W08, ( 133", 85" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
Regards,
Peter Gallagher, Trinity College Dublin.
