Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Sat, 24 Jun 2006 09:09:22 -0700

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The visible disk continues to be spotless and quiescent, but a new active region located beyond the visible disk (east limb at about N08) was the source of 4 A-class and 3 B-class events today - additional similar events expected with a slight chance of a C-class event as well.

The position of the new target region on June 24 at 14:30 UT: N08E89 (Solar X = -926", Solar Y = 127")

See http://www.solarmonitor.org/ for images and additional information and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
