Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Sun, 25 Jun 2006 08:25:11 -0700

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The NE target region was the source of 11 A-class and 6 B-class events since the last message. The largest event was a B4.3 event at 06/25/05:05 UT. The region is still too close to the limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration, but it appears to be a beta sunspot group in growth phase. A- and B-class events expected with a slight chance of an isolated C-class event.

The position of the target region on June 25 at 08:00 UT: N08E77 (Solar X = -912", Solar Y = 123")

See http://www.solarmonitor.org/ for images and additional information and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
