Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Tue, 25 Jul 2006 12:51:46 +0100
Dear RHESSI collaborators,
A large and relatively complex region has just rotated onto the southeast limb. It is thought to be the return of NOAA 10898 which resulted in the M2.5 on 6-Jul-2006. The region produced a C-class flare yesterday, and is expected to continue to produce low-level events, with a small chance for an M.
The position of this as-yet unnumbered region on 25-Jul-2006 12:00 UT is:
S08E90, ( -936", -131" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
Regards,
Peter Gallagher, Trinity College Dublin.
