Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Fri, 29 Sep 2006 10:13:36 -0400 (EDT)

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

At this time there are 4 sunspotted plages on the visible disk. This includes an EFR at S06W37. All of the regions have simple magnetic configurations. NOAA 0913 is the largest region and will continue to be the default target. Only minor flare activity is expected today. It is possible that the return of old NOAA 0908 or a new region near the location of 0908 (Lo = 129) may result in an increase in activity.

The position of NOAA 0913 on September 29 at 09:55 UT: S18E62 (Solar X = -805", Solar Y = -345")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
