Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Thu, 16 Nov 2006 10:12:07 -0500 (EST)

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 0923 has new flux emerging just NE of its large leading penumbra. 0923 has been quiescent but will continue to be the target region. Recently emerged NOAA 0924 (S08E19) produced the C1.8 event yesterday at 18:55 UT. C-class activity is possible from both 0923 and 0924. There is still a very remote chance (<10%) of an M-class event.

The position of NOAA 0923 on November 16 at 14:30 UT: S05W29 (Solar X = 470", Solar Y = -124")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
