Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 10930 consists of a large, somewhat asymmetric leader spot surrounded by an extended area of plage. The region, which is still classified as a beta-gamma-delta region, has not produced significant activity over the past 24-hours, but is likely to produce M-class events, with a chance for an X.

The position of NOAA 10930 on 9-Dec-2006 12:00 UT is:

S05E25, ( -411", -82" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
