Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The delta configuration in the southern portions of NOAA 10930 has continued to grow over the past 24-hours, and now shows strong magnetic gradients across its neutral line. The region produced an impulsive X3.4 flare starting at 02:14 UT today, which was associated with a rapid increase in >10MeV protons seen by GOES 11. The beta-gamma-delta region is expected to continue to produce intermediate-level activity, with a good chance for another X.

The position of NOAA 10930 on 13-Dec-2006 10:00 UT is:

S06W27, ( 441", -92" )
