Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Wed, 24 Jan 2007 12:09:02 -0500 (EST)

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The location of old NOAA 0933 was the source of the long duration B8.4 event at 01/24/14:40 UT (see http://www.lmsal.com/solarsoft/latest_events/) At this time, we'll switch the RHESSI target from NOAA 0939 (S03W64) to the new region located just beyond the SE limb at approximately S08 degrees. A C-class event is probable.

The position of the new target region on January 24 at 14:40 UT: S08E85 (solar X = -965", Solar Y = -134")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
